Woke up early as usual and hit the waves for a few hours.
Arms and shoulders are getting decently tired after so many sessions of surfing
so I decided to not do a night session and rest up for tomorrow morning.
Got back and the boys and I whipped up some oatmeal with
peaches, walnuts and cranberries to place on the bowl of yogurt and bananas as
is our custom now. Of course we made lattés as well and I was asked to poach
the eggs for our avocado tomato toast with garlic onion tomato sauce after I
showed my proficiency at it yesterday. I guess this is now my new role in the
test kitchen and as it is held in high respect among my peers I am more than ok
with that.
Read and napped during the day as usual.
That night rather than surf we made a big dinner. I guess
that isn’t fair since we make a big dinner everynight but tonight was
especially large. I made a homemade pico de gayo salsa and then mixed it in
with the Ode’s secret guacamole recipe. To my delight received numerous “best I’ve
ever had”comments and the whole hostel magically appeared and we polished off a
massive bowl before dinner was close to ready.
Dinner consisted of baked reineta (white fish common here)
with brown rice and baked vegetables.
