Day 127

Miraculously my ankle is almost back to full health after the two hour surfing session last night. I have sprained both my ankles before and no how long something like that should take to recover but I think my body was just to excited to surf to let it get injured.

Needless to say I was back in the water that morning. I really enjoy waking up by 7am for a light breakfast of maybe toast and a cup of tea before getting to the water by about 7:45. Best way to start the morning ever. I had a prenominal day. Was paddling out from shore and happened by pure luck to chance into the perfect spot for a swell rolling in. I had a great ride before the others had finished stretching on the beach and just continued the momentum through the whole session.

It was after this session that I called the parents and got approval to rearrange my next two months here to give me an additional week in Pichilemu.

Breakfast was oatmeal with strawberries and cinnamon flakes, cappuccinos and poached eggs over tomato avocado and toast with a spicy ‘egg sauce’ Kevin makes out of garlic and onions and peppers. Kevin and Mike have been trying to figure out how to poach and egg and weren’t having any luck. Naturally Kevin is the only one who tries because he is the head chef in our kitchen which we have named the ‘Test Kitchen” since everything we do is a new experiment but ends up delicious.

After they had made eggs I snuck back into the kitchen and poached an egg myself since I have had decent practice in the frat with poaching eggs given the never-ending supply. I walked back to the dining room where Mike and Kevin at which point I was bombarded with a hundred questions.

I enjoyed a nice nap and continued enjoying Atlast Shrugged that afternoon before heading out to surf again that evening.

That night we had a BBQ and invited over some of the girls from that other hostel I spent Tuesday night at. We had BBQ chicken, avocado tomato salad, I made a tropical fruit salad, potato salad, and Diana the German girl who works here made a banana cake. The party continued till late in the night but me and the boys ducked out after dinner to get some sleep for tomorrow morning’s session.
