Day 115

     Lucas and I awoke to a new person moving into our room. A girl from Finland who reminds me so much of Henna who lived with my family for three months this past year. It is weird how similar they are in their mannerisms and overall demeanor leading me to think that all girls from Finland must be this way.

     See asked if she could tag along with us and so all three of us went to a beach about 30 minutes north of Valpo called Renaca. It was a beautiful beach, filled with beautiful people and great waves. Towards the end of the day after a nice beach nap we wandered to the end of the beach where we stumbled across a surfing competition so we sat and watched some great surfing for awhile.

     For dinner back in Valpo we passed a place called “Pizza and Sushi” which become the butt of our jokes for a while because who ever came up with those two things as a combination? We thought they were so odd and didn’t go together at all.

     For our dinner the three of us got sushi at a different locale. However when we finished we weren’t full so we walked two doors down and ordered a pizza.

     We didn’t go out till really late that night for some reason. I think we were having such a good time at the hostel we didn’t realize how late it was. When we finally did go out it was a tad past three and all the clubs in Valpo were closing, so we caught a bus down to neighboring city Vina Del Mar where we were able to spend a few minutes before all it’s clubs and bars closed as well. Point of the story being that we had a great time just hanging out in the hostel and that pizza and sushi do actually go well together.
