Day 117

Today Lucas and I moved our home base to Santiago. But wanting to take full advantage of the sun and beach this was done after a whole day spent on the beach of Renaca. Nothing really beats a day on the beach there. The weather is fantastic, the beach really nice, and the women of South America están muy hermosa. Oh yeah and Lucas and I borrowed a little kids boogie board and did some serious boogying:

And yes I am aware I have a nice sun burn going on. It got a whole lot worse before the day was done. After the beach we took a bus to Santiago but not before stopping in this local, super dirty, and super cheap restaurant where we were greeted by "Mirra gringos!"And our waiter spoke the most muddled spanish I have ever heard of and didn't understand 'agua' despite our literally repetition of it over 20 times. We had to have a nearby table order it for us because there was that much of a language barrier. I think I might have discovered a new undocumented language because what all the locals spoke in that restaurant was incomprehensible and definitely not Spanish.

Other funny anecdote. Lucas got confused and thought the hostel had a pool when it had a pool table. When we asked the man running the hostel where the pool was he pointed at the table and said "No diving please."
