Then night rolled around. Sam and I had invited over basically everyone we knew who is still in the city. Buenos Aires experiences a mass exodus during the months of January-March where most of its inhabitants leave for the Uruguay or go south to the coast. And as far as international travelers go, a bunch head home either right before Christmas or just after. Between the two it feels like there isn't a whole lot of people left here in the city. But for those left, Sam and I prepared a feast.

And here is one of the reasons Argentina is amazing. That 1.5 kilo of steak in the upper left corner cost a whopping $10.
We also have the chorizos and pork rubbed with honey and in the bottom left corner chimmichurry which is a very common somewhat spicy mix that accompanies meat here. We also bought about 10 baguettes for all of this meat and made a few other salsas.
After the asado we headed to the 70s club right by Sam's house and spent the night dancing to hits like the YMCA:
The real question though is what part of the song is playing when this photo was taken?
