I had a few errands to run today, one of which was dropping
off my cellphone at my study abroad office which happens to be located in Barola
Palace the first skyscraper in South America. The office is on the third floor
but from there we snuck all the way to the top and took a bunch of pictures
from the near 360 degree panoramic view.
From there we set out in search of a choripan near Puerto
Madero. I swear they are everwhere but we couldn’t find one to save our lives.
And on top of that it started raining so we wandered around the empty Puerto
Madero, wet and hungry. Finally in frustration we took a cab. As we arrived the
rain let up and we had the best choripans ever.
The downside was that we were a few hours late
and it was almost time for the asado that I had invited everyone to and Lucas
and I had just eaten a ridiculous amount. But the show must go on. Made it back
to find almost everyone already there and fired up the grill for my last
quality Buenos Aires asado for the foreseeable future. Afterwards Will, Kitty,
Lucas and I went out to Plaza Serano until the plaza shut down and they made us
leave.
