At the top is an almost 360 panoramic view of Santiago as well as a giant statue of the Virgen Mary which we naturally had to play around.
Lucas' model friend from Valporaiso was back in Santiago and wanted to see him before he left so we met her at a cafe right by the hostel for the last few hours. She wanted to drive us to the airport (girl is crazy about Lucas) and not wanting to turn down a free ride we said yes. Only catch was we had take the subway to her house on the outskirts of the city where we met grandma, aunts, uncles, dad, mom, and the 15 kids running around who all live together in typical south american tradition. Then her aunt drove us all to the airport. I'm almost positive she doesn't have a license and there were a few times (Mainly when she cut off the same bus 4 times in a row) that I feared for my life. It was wild, honestly like watching someone drive stick the first time but in Santiago on the interstate.
Now Lucas is gone though, after an amazing week together tearing up BA, Valparaiso, Viña Del Mar, and Santiago. Awesome bro, excited to reunite with him in the spring at UW.
