Day 136

This has been such a good trip. I don’t think I have ever laughed as much as I have the last four and a half months. I’ve met so many amazing people and had so much fun. I don’t think it would be possible to enjoy myself more than I have since I arrived here.

Today we all cruised down to Puntia but I didn’t stay a long time since I was tired after antics with Anton last night. That and I rode a nice wave to far towards the beach and the current prevented me from paddling back outside so I called it quits early.

That night though we all went back to Puntia again. It was Terry, myself, and a guy from Spain, and England who had just moved into the hostel. What then took place was the most absurd thing that’s happened in Pichilemu yet sin Anton.

We were all stretching on the beach getting ready to go in when a little kid came over and started taking pictures of us stretching. Then some girls came over and asked for a picture, then their friends. Then a mom and dad asked if they could take a picture of us with their baby sitting on one of our boards, then a few other people. Then finally when it appeared that this massive photo shoot was over, Spain and England swam out and the group of girls came back each wanting to take a solo picture with Terry and then with me. I don’t even care to think about how much time we spent taking pictures. Mike though who was always asking/competing with everyone else on how many pictures each guy had got per session lost his mind when we told him upon returning to the hostel.

That night we had a massive feast. It was supposedly our going away feast because we all were supposed to leave the following day (no one did). Mike made hand made meatballs for a few hours, Kevin made this tomato sauce that he let simmer on the stove for about 5 hours, the guy from England made two peach cobblers, we had over two people from England that we had met yesterday in Santa Cruz and they brought a massive green salad and of course we had the wine that we bought yesterday as well as pisco sours and Micheladas. Needless to say once we finally got around to eating it was a couple hour dinner.

And for your amusement here is a picture of Ryan left and Anton right:

And here is a second later when Anton is slapping himself. Why is he slapping himself? Your guess is as good as mine.

Some how after sitting around following dinner and digesting for a few hours we all managed to make it out with Anton. Once again we went to Wytara, which was packed. It was great seeing Mike and Kevin out in that atmosphere after 2 weeks living together and never going out, they tore it up!
