We all went out to roof bar to celebrate. Roof is quickly becoming our go to bar. Really fun people, great location, outside bars are always fun, and its got the cheapest drinks in BA.
Some how we managed to get our names on the list for Rose Bars Anniversary Party. So at about 2 we left Roof and headed down the block to Rose Bar. It was a great party. For the first part of the night (till about 3:30) they had a live band playing american classic rock like Led Zeppelin and AC/DC:
Then the DJ came out as did Rose Bars patented red and green light saberish things. Finally we left as it was starting to get light out. I parted ways with Zack at a choripan place and he headed home. There were two old guys sitting at the bar eating a choripan at 6 in the morning and drinking a beer. They called me over and bought me a beer which was the last thing I wanted on my way home. They spoke zero english but we talked for awhile and I gathered that they wanted to see how good I was with the ladies being from America and all. Right at that point in walk three girls doing the same thing I was doing, grabbing a choripan on the way home from a long night of clubbing. They guys practically shoved me off my stool in their direction. I approached them and subsequently was invited over to join them at a table. To my new found friends delight the girls asked if they wanted to join as well. I guess I was more than worth the beer to them!
I ended up leaving and saying goodbye to my two amigos and left with the three girls. They lived close to where I did so we all walked and bussed back together having a grand ol time now that it was full fledge daylight outside. This was one of those mornings where crawling into bed never felt better!
